Data Science Contractor

As a Data Science Contractor, you will lead the charge on building out the tools and framework that Snapsheet’s Workforce Management team will leverage to determine staffing needs, manage real-time changes in call center volume and staffing, and advise on prioritization of internal analytical needs. You will spend 6-8 weeks developing the foundation on which Snapsheet’s customer support analytics and workforce management will flourish.

What You'll Do

  • Analyze historical data to create forecasting models, determine optimal headcount requirements, and propose scheduling options to best meet demand.
  • Build and/or refine templates and dashboards to be used for managing real-time staffing and business performance.
  • Assist team in documenting and prioritizing the future-state reporting and dashboard needs to effectively communicate to the Snapsheet Tech Team.
  • Train team on how to use the templates and dashboards you build.

 

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor‘s Degree (Master’s Preferred) in Business Information Management, Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, Logistics, or related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in data analytics and model building.
  • Ability to analyze business needs and drive project plans to hit deadlines.
  • Ability to write queries to combine multiple data sources.
  • Adept at summarizing large and complex amounts of information.
  • Solid knowledge of Google suite and Microsoft Office software (advanced Excel)
  • Ability to build excel-based dashboards to combining multiple data sources.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
